MHS1981.com – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Mustang High School Class of 1981 reunion community! We’re glad you’re here. These terms keep our herd friendly, safe, and fun for everyone.

1. Community Standards

We’re all here to reconnect and share memories. To keep MHS1981.com a welcoming place, we ask that you:

  • Be respectful. Treat classmates like you’d treat them at a reunion party.
  • No harassment, personal attacks, or negativity. We’re not interested in drama, bullying, or settling old scores online. (Save that for the other Social Media channels)
  • Keep it appropriate. Think of this like the yearbook—would it be okay to share with everyone in the class?
  • No Advertising. Like the previous bullets,

Violations: We reserve the right to remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these standards.

2. What You Can’t Post

Don’t share:

  • Spam or scams. No unsolicited promotions, MLM links, or get-rich-quick schemes.
  • Illegal content. We won’t host content that violates the law.
  • Private information. Don’t post someone’s personal info (phone numbers, addresses, etc.) without permission.
  • Impersonation. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not.
  • Copyright infringement. Don’t upload photos or content you don’t own or have permission to share.
  • No advertising or self-promotion. This isn’t the place to hawk products, services, or business opportunities—keep it personal and community-focused.

3. Your Content & Photos

When you upload photos or post memories:

  • You confirm you have the right to share them (you own them or have permission).
  • You grant MHS1981.com a non-exclusive license to host and display your content on this site.
  • We won’t sell or commercially use your content without asking first.
  • You can request removal of your content anytime—just reach out to an admin.

4. Privacy & Your Information

  • We collect only what you voluntarily provide (name, email, profile info).
  • We don’t share your email or personal data with third parties.
  • We’ll use your email only for site notifications and community updates.

5. Account Responsibility

  • Your account, your rules: You’re responsible for anything posted from your account.
  • Keep it secure: Don’t share your password; we’ll never ask for it.
  • One account per person: No fakes or alternate accounts to bypass community standards.

6. Site Availability & Changes

  • MHS1981.com is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running smoothly.
  • We may update or modify the site, features, or these terms at any time.
  • We’re not liable for temporary downtime, data loss, or technical issues beyond our control.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to remove your account or ban you from the site if you:

  • Repeatedly violate these terms
  • Harass or harm other members
  • Post illegal or deeply inappropriate content

You can delete your own account anytime through your account settings.

8. Liability

MHS1981.com is a volunteer-run community. To the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • We’re not liable for damages from using (or not using) this site.
  • We’re not responsible for anything posted by other users.
  • Your use of this site is at your own risk.

9. Links & Third-Party Sites

This site may link to external sites. We’re not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or reliability. Check their terms before using them.

10. Disputes & Governing Law

If you have a complaint, contact us at admin@mhs1981.com and we’ll work it out. These terms are governed by Oklahoma law.
